To continue our growth in Dubai, we are expanding our team with an experienced General Manager who has his focus on guest journey and venue management. If you have experience managing diverse stakeholders and experience with building a lifestyle venue, keep reading.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- You will report to the CEO and/or the board of directors from our investors.
- You are required to balance the interests of our guests, the project, our investors and the global brand Tomorrowland - you see a complex stakeholder situation as a positive challenge and have experience managing a similar configuration. On a weekly basis you will present the current state of affairs to investors & Tomorrowland.
- You are responsible for managing all departments touching our guests journey on a daily basis and have experience with creating and managing a diverse team. When needed you have network of professional that allow you to respond to a shifting team in a short timeframe.
- As an experienced people manager, you have a long list of ex-colleagues who loved working with you are happy to follow you.
- Whilst not unimportant, the financials in the short run are not your first worry. Having an operational vision and strategy on how to reach that keeping our guest journey in mind, is.
- Your eye for detail ensures the venue & staff are constantly in top shape. You have experience implementing a culture of constant improvement in a positive way.
- You represent the brand Terra Solis in Dubai with contacts & high-end clientele. These contacts are already in your address book.
**MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS**
- You have a proven-track record of managing a hotel with a focus on lifestyle.
- You have experience with a hotel opening, preferably a resort.
- Experience with music events is a plus but not a must.
- During your previous experiences, you came into contact with a range of range of departments and as a generalist you can touch base with all of them.
- You have a strong network in Dubai’s hospitality scena and/or GCC region.
- You have a strong eye for detail and qualitive delivery in your DNA.
- Open and pro-active communication in your second language and you are not scared of communicating open & factual within a complex stakeholder environment(TS management, Tomorrowland & investors).
- Thorough P&L-management and being challenged by management, finance colleagues and all stakeholders does not scare you off.
- You are problem-solution-minded and always create win-win opportunities for all parties.
- Status quo is not an option, you never assume.
- You are stress-resistant, have a no-nonsense attitude and roll up your sleeves.
- You are fluent in English.
