We are actively looking for a Financial Controller for one of our clients, active in the manufacturing industry and located in East Flemish Brabant.

Founded 20 years ago, this Belgian company specializes in manufacturing high-precision components for a wide range of industries, including industrial automation, geoscience, automotive, maritime and agriculture. The company operates on a global scale and maintains offices in the US and Asia.

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Financial Controller. In this role, you will work autonomously on all financial matters, while maintaining close contact with the accounting team and manager. You will work side by side with the CFO, playing a key role in shaping financial strategy and driving business decisions.

**Role**:

- Drive the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with business stakeholders
- Provide financial insights through reporting, modeling and variance analysis
- Partner with business units to support strategic decisions and performance initiatives
- Lead improvements in financial systems and processes to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Strengthen financial governance by implementing controls, policies and process improvements

**Profile**:

- Higher education in Finance, Economics or Management Sciences
- You bring around 8 years of experience in business controlling or financial controlling
- You are fluent in English, which will be your main working language
- You are autonomous and have a strong analytical mindset
- You communicate clearly and pleasantly
- You thrive as a team player with a positive attitude
