**JOB SUMMARY**
The 3D Systems site in Leuven, Belgium is looking for a skilled Manufacturing (Process-) Engineering Manager
reporting directly to the Director of Advanced manufacturing to lead a team of engineering professionals
responsible for ensuring process stability & improvements and customer-designed products are transferred
to production successfully. You will use your knowledge of risk management, project management,
engineering and lean six sigma to lead the team in improving production and post-production activities to
achieve efficiencies & high prod throughput.

**RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist management in setting the strategy for the manufacturing engineering organization
- Manage the team and organization in order to achieve the vision and goals in line with the

allocated budget and overall load capacity balance. Guide, motivate & coach a group of 5-10
engineers.
- Provide oversight for the development and maintenance of manufacturing processes and

ensure procedures are developed that conform to established internal and external standards
and guidelines
- Provide leadership in the definition and continuous improvement of those required processes,

focusing on product quality, production efficiency, process reliability and sustainability
- Participate in the transfer of new projects into manufacturing and continue providing process
- focused engineering support until product obsolescence
- Make use of appropriate tools, such as DOE, SPC, hypothesis testing, and capability studies to

measure, monitor, improve processes
- Lead the investigation of complex process problems. Identify and manage corrective actions

resulting from problem investigations
- Adhere to policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and internal regulations to

ensure compliance
- Drive appropriate change control and participate in CAPA investigations

**PROFILE**:

- Master’s degree in engineering or related fields- Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and in writing
- Minimal 15 years of professional relevant experience within a high regulated manufacturing
- environment and excellent people management skills- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, ERP systems,
- Lean knowledge
