**Skills, knowledge, experience required**:

- A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2-4 years of post-related experience;
- Experience in:

- Using MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint;
- Working in a customer funding environment;
- Documenting/improving business processes;
- Liaising with internal and external staff and ability to build relationships across the business;
- Using Oracle R12 based ERP;
- Prior experience of working in an international environment;
- Knowledge of Accounting Standards (IPSAS, IFRS and/or IAS);
- Good understanding of ERP systems;
- Analytical skills;
- Understanding of cost accounting;
- Proven ability to:

- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing;
- Work under pressure in a complex environment;
- Ability to collaboratively work in a team.

**Duties/role**:

- Being responsible for overseeing:

- Compliance of financial planning and operations of organisational element within the NCIA’s regulations and standards;
- Financial planning, revenue and cost management, as well as the timely capture, processing and presentation of financial information;
- Coordinating internal processes, detecting and following-up the resolution of variances, facilitating processes and advising Key Staff;
- Participating in and supporting planning and Budgeting activities in support and collaboration with COO, CFO and CPO;
- Providing scrutiny and validation of financial data;
- Conducting financial reviews and other financial analysis;
- Controlling revenue, cost and investments targets/allocations and monitoring execution/achievement;
- Producing financial management reports;
- Using Enterprise Business Applications (EBA) - Agency ERP - and Business Intelligence (BI) for financial management.
