Tasks
The role will be based in Belgium. The controller will be responsible for all tasks related to business controlling for Belgium and the Netherlands, working closely with the passionate country manager, sales, marketing and finance teams. The main tasks are:
- perform financial analysis,
- manage local P&Ls
- develop and monitor forecasts,
- analyse investment proposals,
- completion of yearly budget and business plans,
- monitor and explain variances form budget plans vs actual results
- prepare and participate in operating reviews
- Sparring partner for country manager, marketing and key account managers.
Formal competences
Working experience:
- Previous business controlling experience (required)
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting (required)
- Experience in multinational organisation (desirable)
- Accounting experience is considered as an advantage.
Knowledge:
- Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent (desirable)
- Good communication skills in Dutch, French and English are required
- SAP and MFG pro will be considered as an advantage.
- Sensibility to environmental issues, following Husqvarna’s Sustainability agenda.
Personal characteristics:
We are seeking a person who likes to work in a passionate and informal team with a desire to succeed together with others. You are preferably also a person that is proactive and is not afraid to challenge to improve. You have to have a strong integrity and a co-operative nature, but also enough “motor” to work independently.
What we offer:
- One year fixed-term contract with possibility of transfer into permanent;
Willingness to travel on business, mainly between the Netherlands and Belgium.
