THE SCOPE
With 30 years of history, today Gaming1 is one of the international leaders in both land-based and digital games of chance (casino games, sports betting and poker). Its evolution at the heart of innovation is accompanied by a diversification and specialization of positions, with the creation of new cutting-edge jobs. As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for an experienced FP&A Controller to join its finance team.
Reporting to the FP&A Manager and working together with the group's different affiliates, your main job will be to help monitor and assess the performances and costs involved with Gaming1's companies.
YOUR ROLE
As an experienced FP&A Controller for a group that is rapidly expanding, you will be the essential support for the digital group’s management to ensure the latter attains its overall objectives.
You will provide your financial and analytical expertise and act as a business partner to the digital management. You will be involved in plans to digitalize the group's financial reports (Enterprise Performance Management and Business Intelligence tools).
Budgeting/Controlling/Reporting
- Establishing estimated budgets and forecasts
- Developing business cases oriented towards business growth and marketing efficiency
- Creating and analyzing financial and operating reports focused on digital business unit (and its underlying OpCo’s)
- Implementing dashboards, ad-hoc management report, etc.
Business performance
- Optimizing and controlling financial evolutions and variances for digital activities
- Reviewing the monthly performance together with the digital management
- Cooperate hand in hand with business partners in ad-hoc projects (business development, marketing, IT)
Digitalisation projects
- Participate with the finance, technology and business partners to the assessment and implementation of Enterprise Management System
YOUR PROFILE
- Master’s in economics, business or management (with a focus on finance)
- 10 -15+ years experience in a financial controlling position
- E-commerce and B2C knowledges are a must
- Good knowledge of/particular interest in : accounting (general and analytical), financial analysis and planning, M&A
- An interest in new technology is a real plus
- Knowledge of EPM, BI tools and ERP is an asset
- Knowledge of IFRS is an asset
- Proficient in Excel and all its features in expert mode
- B2 level of English and any other language is a plus
- An analytical mind and good deductive skills
- Responsible, teamplayer and respects privacy
- Thorough and methodical
- Excellent communicator
