**Description de la fonction
**We are looking for a full-time **Junior Industry and Sustainability Data Officer **to join our Industry, Market Intelligence and Trade team. This role is responsible to support the team by collecting and analysing industry datasets related to market intelligence with a focus on aluminium industry and sustainability data to develop our aluminium industry knowledge and our industry advocacy with facts and figures.

**Main tasks and duties**:

- **Industry Statistics & Market Intelligence**
- Collecting and processing of industry data _(e.g., production, consumption, by market end uses) _from the aluminium producers in Europe with respect for confidentiality
- Supporting the team for extracting and analysing customs trade data _(on regular and on ad hoc basis) _for various aluminium products
- **Sustainability data collection & analysis**
- Supporting the team on other data collection / analysis related to sustainability _(e.g., safety, environmental and life cycle assessment data) _with respect for confidentiality
- Supporting the team to further develop further recycling / circular economy (e.g., aluminium waste & scrap) statistics with respect for confidentiality
- **General support to the Industry, Market Intelligence & Trade team**
- Supporting the team for data aggregating and visualisation of the results (e.g., graphs, tables) in ad hoc MS pack office solutions _(e.g., Power Point, Excel, Word) _.
- Assisting the team in organising _(e.g., logistic and content support) _the various committee meetings, and the Spring & Autumn Meetings (twice per year)
- Supporting on ad hoc basis members related to their market intelligence, trade and sustainability data requests

**Reporting to: Director Industry and Market Intelligence
**Description du profil**

**Knowledge, experience, interests and skills**:

- Relevant studies on university level: Engineering or similar, Economics, Business, sciences or similar
- Strong analytical skills. Experience in collecting and analysing data. Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) databases / software or data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau software) is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Strong organisational skills, ability to work in team and willingness to help and learn
- Ability to work autonomously, ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
- An interest in EU affairs and in sustainability matters
