Veterinarian with Experience or Interest in Ultrasound

Our practice in Ixelles focuses mostly on cats, dogs and rabbits where the motivated team beside the general veterinary care can provide more specific knowledge and expertise in fields such as surgery, internal medicine, medical imaging, orthopedics, rehabilitation, anesthesia, intensive care etc.
To keep on providing the dedicated care and personal approach we stand for, we are looking to hire an extra veterinarian in our team with good generalistic expertise and who has experience or interest in ultrasound.
**Who are we looking for?**
- A passionate and motivated small animal veterinarian with good first line experience.
- Ability to independently conduct your own consultations from A to Z, but not to worry, you can consult with your colleagues if needed.
- At least a basic experience with or a genuine interest in ultrasound.
- A team player who thrives on collaboration and contributes to a positive work environment.
- Customer-oriented with a good dose of empathy and excellent communication skills.
- Independent yet willing to share knowledge and learn from others.
- Entrepreneurial and ready for a long-term commitment to help grow our clinic further.
- Flexible and available to participate in on-call duties.
- You speak English on a fully professional level. Knowledge of French on a professional level is a big plus.
**What can we offer?**

- Depending on your relevant experience, you have the option to choose between being enrolled on our payroll or working as an independent contractor.
- A well-equipped veterinary center that besides first line care, physiotherapy and emergencies also has a second line care that can execute several types of surgery such as soft tissue, orthopedic and laparoscopic surgery.
- Two operating theaters with three tables. The first theater is used for general interventions such as: dental care, removal of small tumors, spaying and neutering etc. while the second theater is used for more complex surgical treatment. In addition to general surgical equipment, more specialized equipment such as orthopedic or laparoscopic and endoscopic equipment is present. These complex operations include for example: cruciate ligament operations, patellar luxations corrections, traumatology and fractures as well as soft tissue surgery.
- Full support from our experienced team, consisting of both veterinary nurses and veterinarians.
- Additional support and seamless collaboration with other AniCura practices. Within the AniCura network, you can rely on team members across 18 other clinics in addition to ours, including European specialists specifically trained in internal medicine.
