Business Analyst

Daikin Europe NV (DENV) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese outstanding company and worldwide the biggest developer, producer and supplier of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) solutions, including heating pumps and cooling technology.

DENV is Daikin’s sales, R&D, and production headquarters for Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. The headquarter has Belgian offices in Brussels, Ghent and Ostend, as well as 8 production plants, 24 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the EMEA region.

**Your role**:

- Working in close cooperation with Demand Planning Manager for developing a platform of financial and business reports in PowerBI in several domains at EMEA level, based on inputs from stakeholders at HQ and Affiliates levels. Key objective is to support well-informed decisions by the organization.
- Developing and managing datasets to be extracted from SAP/Salesforce/Business Warehouse sources in order to feed reporting in PowerBI.
- Understanding business needs and requirements from a business perspective with the ability to translate them into a functional perspective leading to datasets creation and reporting developments.
- Member of different project teams involved in SAP/MS Azure projects and managing reporting set-up and validation.
- Working closely with the IT Department to find new tools, functionalities and data needed by the business, in order to analyse and steer activities across EMEA region.
- Promoting and supporting deployment of new dynamic reports across the organization (HQ&Affiliates).

**Desired profile**:

- Master’s Degree in Business Economics or Finance with a strong knowledge in Database Management & PowerBI, or IT Degree with a strong knowledge in Finance Reporting & Analysis
- First experience in Finance or in highly analytical role
- Proactive and creative mindset
- Good knowledge of English (other EU languages are an asset)
- Good knowledge & experience in data management
- Good knowledge of PowerBI and other reporting tools eg BW, BO, AFO
- Good Excel knowledge (Visual Basic)
- Knowledge of SAP/Salesforce is desirable
- Ability to understand, challenge and formalize needs of customers and related requirements
- Collaborative mindset and good verbal & written communication skills
- Focus on results and on continuous improvements
