Patient and Health Impact Director Belgium

Enterprise leader being Head of the Patient and Health Impact department, consisting of Market Access Teams and Value and Evidence team.

Secure access to innovation for patients on time by obtaining and maintaining pricing and reimbursement approvals for Pfizer innovations at right value. Integration of scientific, financial, commercial and negotiation expertise, to develop effective access strategies and implementation plans that contribute to ensure that Pfizer meets its strategic business goals and financial objectives.

Leverage relationships with external decision makers, to present the company, its position, and its value to patients. Build trustful solutions to achieve Pfizer’s operational and strategic goals.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading the Patient and Health Impact department securing enterprise leadership. Grow colleagues and secure continuous improvement of the division's performance and processes
- Securing strategic alignment of the access area locally and globally as 1 Pfizer, considering the requirements of the payers and health system and the priorities of Pfizer’s portfolio
- Developing of cross functional access strategies for all products - from pipeline products to launch products and already launched products based on strategic Global Pricing and Access (GPA) plans
- Lead the negotiations for Value based Managed Entry Agreements with payers
- Developing future-oriented solutions to shape the healthcare environment to secure access to Pfizer’s innovations through communication and relationship management with external stakeholders and decision-makers at the highest level
- Collaboration and representation of Pfizer's position in industry associations, committees and working groups

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 15+ years experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Study of economics, sciences or health management
- Leadership experience & experience working with cross-functional teams in a global company
- Comprehensive knowledge of all access & policy relevant processes, procedures and stakeholders in Belgium and Luxemburg
- Business Acumen incl P&L management
