We’re taking on the crusty global cyber market, the "no-BS" security platform for devs. In the past, only large enterprises needed to worry about security. Today, cybersecurity has become the top concern of all CEOs, from startups to enterprises. This means more work for developers, who need to become security experts and ensure their platforms are secure. But it’s hard. The market is riddled with overcomplicated, expensive tools that aren’t fit for developers. So, we founded Aikido. We are the no-bullsh*t security platform that developers actually like to use. One central platform that shows devs what matters and how to fix it, so they can get back to building. Why work with us? Founded in 2022 by third-time serial founders, with $25M funding in the bank, we're dead set on getting security done for devs. This is a chance to join an all-star team early, take ownership, and push boundaries. Aikido is scaling fast: we are 150 people worldwide today and will grow to 300 in the next 24 months. Until now, HR-related tasks (contracts, onboarding, payroll, visa admin, policies, vacation management, etc.) have been spread across managers, recruiters, and leadership. We are looking for our first **Global HR Operations Lead** to centralize and professionalize these processes. You’ll build the backbone that keeps Aikido compliant, efficient, and scalable as we grow internationally, with a strong focus on Belgium as our home base. **Responsibilities**: - Own HR ops (payroll, contracts and compliance), with Belgium as the main base - Act as the go-to person for employee admin questions (vacation attestations, local labor rules, visa sponsorship, etc.) - Smooth onboarding/offboarding - Manage employee benefits, including Belgian programs such as Olympus Mobility, Easyvest group insurance, Monizze eco vouchers/meal vouchers, and Alan healthcare, as well as equivalents in other regions. - Coordinate with tools/vendors like Oyster, Rippling, and local payroll providers. - Work together with legal partners to advise on HR/legal sensitivities in different jurisdictions (especially EU & US). - Report to the Chief of Staff, ensuring alignment of HR operations with company priorities. - Strong HR and payroll expertise in Belgium, with US process experience as a strong plus. - Familiar with global HR ops (contracts, benefits, compliance, in different regions) - Practical, organized, detail-driven - Tech-savvy with HR tools (Officient, Rippling, Oyster, Recruitee, etc.) - Clear, strong communicator and eager to learn What you can expect - High-impact position in a fast-growing company - Competitive salary package - A company that sticks to their values in an open and informal atmosphere (see our culture-page on the website for more details) - A diverse and inclusive organization that is proud to be an equal opportunity employer - Flexibility in working hours You will be recruited based on competencies.
