Financial Controller

We are currently looking for a **Financial Controller **to support and accelerate our growth in Belgium.

**What will your new challenge look like?**

As a Financial Controller you will be the sparring partner of the Country CFO. You will analyze and report on business KPIs and will be the bridge between the business and Finance. You will actively be involved in accounting closing and group reporting. You will monitor the Order to Cash process and will actively participate in the introduction of new tooling and company processes. Your role will be crucial in our growth.

The current finance team is composed of 1 CFO, 2 senior accountants and 2 Order to Cash administrators. You will report directly to the Country CFO and you will work closely with all business leaders in the organization.

**What will be your key responsibilities ?**
- Participate in the monthly accounting closing
- Understand group reporting and help the team with the reporting
- Manage the relationship with the external auditor and execute yearly statutory & fiscal requirements
- Manage the Order to Cash process, actively administer some customers yourself
- Analyze business KPIs, discuss with pillar leaders and CFO, propose actions for improvements. Assist in preparation of monthly Pillar review meeting
- Monitor financial side of the Project Management Office, discus with stakeholders
- Understand Company tooling, be involved in upgrades and improvements
- Review, update and improve Financial processes
- Assist CFO in legal matters

**Do you recognize yourself in our ideal profile ?**
- You have a Master degree in Applied Economics or equivalent
- You have worked 5 years in a Big Accounting Firm and ideally have experience as a Controller
- You have experience with managing people both directly and/or indirectly
- You have proven the ability to build effective partnerships internally
- You have strong influencing skills and the capacity of driving solutions across multiple functions
- You have strong organizational skills, the capacity to structure plans based on data and you are systematic in your approach
- You have excellent verbal, written communication and listening skills.
- You are creative, proactive and you like to think out of the box.

- You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
