Head of Casualty Frabelux Cluster Lead

This role will report to the CEO Frabelux (France, Belgium, Luxembourg) and Head of Casualty EMEA and will be responsible for the execution of Frabelux Casualty (excluding Motor) product strategy, in accordance with the International strategy to deliver the Frabelux P&L targets; this role will drive local business development and provide underwriting leadership for the local Casualty teams.

Key Accountabilities:

- Responsible for executing Frabelux Casualty (excl Motor) product P&L - including production and profitability through targeted Must Win Battles in collaboration with Head of Casualty EMEA
- Understand and drive the AIG Value Proposition to clients and brokers by integrating claims, engineering/CRS and multinational capabilities into day to day underwriting practices.
- Day to day leadership of Frabelux underwriting teams, Frabelux for Liability, E&C, EIL and Crisis,
- Drive consistent underwriting best practices and adherence to underwriting guidelines and pricing guardrails in Frabelux, while acknowledging and collaborating with the broader International team to ensure consistency in approach
- Ensure audits, quality reviews and peer reviews are robustly monitored and measured, including implementation of action steps to improve underwriting results ensuring adherence to risk appetite, line setting, standards and guidelines, and ensure rating and pricing adequacy, in collaboration with the Technical Manager
- Oversee portfolio management to direct strategic underwriting decisions to ensure financial and underwriting objectives are achieved in collaboration with the EMEA Casualty Leadership team
- Ensure a culture of collaboration across product lines and distribution in the Frabelux teams.
- Ensure we are leveraging our broker partnerships to meet our targets and work with CUO to develop/Enhance an engagement strategy
- In collaboration with HR, develop, attract and retain top industry talent and develop high performing teams.
- Drive a culture that promotes collaboration, diversity and inclusion.

Technical Skills and Expertise:

- In-depth understanding of the Casualty Frabelux Market place
- Proven and existing key relationships within the Casualty Frabelux Market
- Broad based Casualty underwriting experience at a senior leadership level
- Analytical and quantitative skills
- Knowledge of market segmentation, portfolio management and distribution
- Demonstrated ability to manage, direct, coach and develop a team of professional staff
