Our services touch every area of international postal traffic from new and better reporting for international postal letters and packages traffic to implementing new ways to facilitate e-commerce across the globe. **Our Markets team is looking for a Project Manager, Markets, are you our new colleague?**

IPC currently has a vacancy for a Project Manager, Markets, to provide a comprehensive analysis of the global trends and drivers shaping both domestic and cross-border e-commerce from the perspective of online consumers, global e-retailers, and markets. The aim is to inform postal operators of changing customer needs so that they can take informed decisions about their international product portfolio and delivery service specifications.

**Job specifications**
- Provide support for the annual IPC Cross-Border E-Commerce Shopper Survey which involves quantitative market research in over 30 markets using an online consumer panel in each market to explore consumer preferences and delivery experiences of cross-border e-commerce.
- Provide support for the annual IPC Domestic E-Commerce Shopper Survey which involves quantitative market research in over 10 markets and focuses on the consumer preferences and delivery experiences of domestic e-commerce.
- Analyse the results of the IPC Shopper Surveys to compare consumer behaviour in different markets to identify trends and differences. Prepare and write reports and presentations on the results of the survey by region and by market.
- Support diverse range of market insights projects relating to global e-commerce development in Asia-Pacific, Europe, North and South America. This includes contribution to research articles and E-retailer Intelligence Reports
- Manage Market Intelligence activities on Direct Marketing with experts from the membership to identify best practice and to develop and write case studies, articles, and user guides to meet member requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of the international transport and delivery sector, ideally with experience in e-commerce; highly numerate, strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills required; highly analytical problem solver, able to identify trends and actions from complex data from multiple channels.
- 2 years of Market Research experience in in quantitative analytical marketing intelligence with advanced skills in data mining.
- University graduate, preferably with a degree in science, engineering, or mathematics.
- Team player, able to work in an international environment that requires discretion and the ability to keep data and knowledge confidential / good knowledge of project management techniques.
- Results orientated, pro-active, team player, able to work and actively contribute to a team environment
- As English is the working language of IPC, a high standard of both spoken and written English is required, other European languages a plus.

**Contract length**
