Operational Performance Analyst

**Job Description**:
Within the OPEX**team, we drive transversal action plans with an objective of operational efficiency, we monitor their impact and launch initiatives to achieve performant Operations. These topics are highly visible topics and contribute to the Operations strategic plan. The OPEX team is directly reporting to the COO and the Management Committee of AXA Belgium. The team works in close collaboration with all Operations (‘OPS’) departments, representing ~1500 collaborators.

We are looking for a dynamic & pragmatic profile to support operational performance steering, across all Operations teams, ensuring Operations are running efficiently and effectively. This profile will report directly to the Head of the OPEX team.

The mandate is transversal to AXA BE, and includes the following activities in support of the Senior Performance Manager Transversal OPS:

- Support the set-up of a transversal performance management framework:
- Together with the Senior Performance Manager, design and contribute to the development and the implementation of performance dashboards and tools by Data Office, e.g. automation framework
- Together with the Senior Performance Manager, monitor and analyze the performance of AXA BE OPS processes, transversally (focus on quality of service, operational excellence & efficiency, technical performance, etc )
- Identify deviations and potential bottlenecks impacting business KPI’s preventing realization of target Ops Strategy impact.
- Support in proposing recommendations to improve performance
- Prepare conclusions and key messages for Management Committee & Senior Management reporting (e.g. automation, accessibility, process automation)
- Data and BI reporting role within OpEx- In charge of developing BI visual reports to facilitate Ops monitoring across each line of business, in particular for accessibility/telephony and process automation (RPA)
- Liaison role between Data team (in charge of data models, technical setup) and OpEx to ensure right sourcing and availability of data for BI reports; manage and own data backlog and monitor issues through resolution with the data team
- Ensure report accuracy, as they are a key for the DirOps to steer their Ops teams

**Qualifications**

We are looking for a data profile with ideally 2-3 years’ experience in performance management (finance/ operational/ etc) and/or operational efficiency improvement.
- Analytical skills - ability to deal with complex data & perform swift analysis, linking KPIs reported in the BI reports with strategic ambition and business objectives
- Power BI skills (report creation)
- Data skills: able to perform simple updates to a data model (cube) based on required information to publish in the reporting - ultimately able to prepare data (ETL) with the support of the Data team
- Solution-oriented, challenging attitude and problem solving mindsetStakeholder management skills (assertiveness & negotiation skills) - to handle transversal performance with various stakeholders (BU-performance managers, data & reporting representatives, counterparts from HR, Distribution, )
- Ability to structure and monitor delivery, being the effective liaison between Business OPS, Data & Reporting representatives - team player
- Proactivity and ability to work independently
- Prior experience in / knowledge of the Insurance industry is a plus, in Operations in particular (Underwriting, policy admin and claims management processes)
- Perfect knowledge of French or Dutch, active knowledge of the other official language and of English
