**Your function**

EGI wishes to reinforce its team working on **Infrastructure**in the context of deep integration of renewable energy sources, Energy and Balancing Market Integration. To achieve this, we are looking for an experienced **Senior Principal - HVDC / Offshore Grids.**

In this role, you will proactively develop new revenue streams within current and prospective customers, identify and understand customer needs, and develop solutions to meet them. You will be building relationships with industry players and collaborating directly with the C-Suite of utilities, Project Developers, System Operators, Investment funds. You will be leading a team of HVDC experts and report directly to Chief Operation Officer.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the development of Technical Specifications on Large HVDC and complex Offshore Grid Projects.
- Take part in the early design and coordinate the Front-End Engineering and Design phase of such projects. Oversee procurement and tendering activities and support the project Owners in various phases of their projects.
- Drive and stimulate the development of HVDC and Offshore solutions proposed by EGI.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of the company by adopting best practices, seeking improvement opportunities and engaging in the development of strategic partnerships.
- Support in daily business, resource planning, sales and operations planning, recruitment, and management of consultants/contractors.
- Ensure that all project activities are carried out according to policies, quality standards, and financial targets.

**Your profile**
- 10-25 years of professional experience in the HVDC field in leadership positions (Team Leader, Project Manager, Project Director, Chief Engineer or similar)
- Master’s in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Industry expert with credibility and a name in the industry to open doors and command respect when proposing solutions.
- Proven success in business development, specially producing solutions and shaping offers to solve customer challenges at C-Level contacts.
- Experience overseeing the delivery of strategy or operational consulting services to the electricity transmission sector.
- Managing large and complex projects in a global team of experienced professionals and experts
- Knowledge of strategy development, market & regulations, business transformation, offshore grid, interconnectors, digitalization or other topics related to the energy transition.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Mobility and flexibility, willing to travel up to 25% of the time for international assignments depending on the business development needs.
