Context
Bank Degroof Petercam is an independent Belgian rooted Bank, operating internationally, with leading positions in Asset Management, Private Banking, and Investment Banking. On top of that, we are continuously in motion to deliver our clients the best possible services.
Our Global Markets business, part of the Investment Banking division, provides a comprehensive suite of financial products to meet our clients’ needs ranging from financing and market access to yield enhancement and hedging. Our clients include financial institutions, corporations, investment managers, institutional investors, and public sector institutions. Our Global Markets Business lines include Equity Sales, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Stock Option Plans, Forex, and Liquidity Providing. We are currently looking for a motivated student or young graduate to join our team as a Data Insight intern for a 3-month internship to start as soon as possible. The internship is located in Brussels.
Your Position
On top of that, sidetasks may include:
- Updating documentation;
- Small scripting in Bash and/or Powershell;
- Creating and updating dashboards;
- Creating and updating self-service pages;
- The automatization by scripting according to your experience;
Your Profile
- You are currently pursuing or holding a Master's degree in IT (or related field) and have a good knowledge of programming. The latter being more important than the former.
- You have excellent writing skills and are fluent in English with a good knowledge of French and Dutch.
- Your personal motto is “Show me the code”.
- You demonstrate a great command in Python and Power BI.
- Team spirit is in your DNA and you like to work in a dynamic team in a challenging environment.
