**Project description**: **Consultation issuing BU** The Global Energy Management BU (GEM) brings together all activities for management and trading of the Group’s assets. Specialised in risk management and energy markets, the BU has 1300 employees present in 16 countries. The BU provides its expertise to all group BUs and develops sales activities and new products for external Customers. GEM is responsible for managing the Group’s European asset portfolio. Our teams: Optimise the supply of natural gas, production assets and energy contracts for the group Negotiate ENGIE long-term natural gas supply contracts Supply internal Customers and those outside of the Group with risk management services related to natural gas, electricity and the price of energy GEM manages one of the biggest and most diversified energy portfolios in Europe. The BU is notably active on global energy markets thanks to the Group’s trading platform, ENGIE Global Markets (EGM). **The consultation issuing entity: GEM Information Systems** GEM Information Systems (GEM-IS) holds a key role in the operational management and development of the activities of the operational entities of GEM (BUs). Within GEM-IS, SPAAS IS is the IS solutions provider of the Business platform SPAAS. The Business Platform SPAAS (Short Term Power as a Service) is a transversal entity of GEM delivering 24/7 short term power services for internal assets in Central Western Europe and external clients: - Deliver scheduling & nomination services - Balancing and 24/7 optimization, planning and transparency services - Day ahead asset optimization services, including hydro (and related short-term planning activities) - 24/7 spot market access services (DA and ID energy markets, transport, TSO ancillary services, imbalance market) - Ensuring BRP duties for our clients (nominations, balancing, technical settlement ) - Short term product engineering, addressing external clients’ needs - Perform technical settlement and back-testing of short term processes SPAAS IS is the department responsible for the support, maintenance and evolution of the information systems of the Business platform SPAAS. - Power assets Optimisation tools and interface to counterparties & TSO. - Power Scheduling and Day-ahead bidding market access. - Intraday trading tools. - Ancillary market bidding and activation. - Real-time monitoring and steering of Power assets. **Responsibilities**: **Context** To increase its competitiveness and pursue its development in the best conditions, GEM IS significantly invests in its information system. In order to reinforce its teams, the SPaaS IS department of GEM-IS is currently looking for a Technical Project Manager to be involved in: - Project implementation, coordination and support - Application Enhancements - Production functional support - Bug fixing **Purpose of the service** The service shall be carried out within the teams of the SPAAS IS department, delivering IS solutions to the different operational teams of the SPAAS business platform. **Services expected from the Service Provider** The activities presented below correspond to the expectations of GEM-IS. It is up to the Service Provider to complete and specify the content of each if necessary, or even add other activities. The Service Provider is expected to put forward a profile with the skills requested in line with the requested activities. After analysing the activities, the Service Provider may propose complementary skills. All of the deliverables shall be drawn up according to the presentation models and standards in force at GEM-IS. The deliverables shall be handed over during performance of the service including in intermediary versions. They shall be sent in electronic form by the company’s messaging service. **Activities** The main activities are: - Listening carefully to the clients’ needs to identify and develop new opportunities; - Conducting business analysis and research to identify key metrics and opportunities for improvement; - Build a collective ambition for your projects with all stakeholders; - Create project plans, execute them and modify them when necessary to take into account changing needs and requirements; - Identify the necessary resources (internal collaborators, subcontractors, suppliers, etc.) and assign responsibilities; - Take the "technical" lead and encourage developers to look for new solutions; - Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project; - Report the progress of the project to all stakeholders; - Attend external workshops with market and regulatory parties to capture functional and technical evolutions, sharing outcome with team members - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team processes **Skills**: The consultant(s) put forward for this assignment must have sound experience in the activities described above, with high level analytical skills, rigour as well as a great ability to listen and communicate.
