Wolters Kluwer is seeking a talented Sr. Business Systems Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in developing and improving industry-leading accounting software solutions.
You will be the bridge between the evolving needs of accounting professionals and the creation of powerful new tools. You'll leverage your accounting expertise and analytical skills to translate complex regulations into actionable requirements, ensuring our software stays at the forefront of the European market.
**Responsibilities**:
- Analyze and interpret accounting regulations and standards: Stay current on industry regulations and translate them into actionable requirements for the development team.- Gather business requirements: Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and accounting professionals to understand their needs and challenges. Translate this knowledge into user stories and functional specifications.- Requirements documentation: Create clear and concise documentation, such as User Stories, Epics, and Acceptance Criteria.- Testing and quality assurance: Participate in functional testing of the software to ensure it meets the defined requirements.- Communication and collaboration: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both business and technical audiences. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.- Experience working with accounting software is a plus.- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
