The PMO & Project Coordinator (hereafter PMO Coordinator) will be accountable for running the PMO processes & all interactions that are associated with those processes. Therefore it will play a key role in ensuring that MPET can, through the delivery of on time and within budget projects, reach it’s ambitions to keep expanding on it’s position as largest container terminal within Europe.

The PMO coordinator will need to make sure that all our projects are aimed at, and will deliver on, improving and transforming our business, so that on a daily basis we always get a little better at running our business for our customers.

The key areas of this role are:
PMO:

- Monitors & controls the overall PMO processes
- Guards timelines, financials & quality for projects within MPET to ensure alignment with company strategic direction
- Lead for the CAPEX budget processes from both shareholders within MPET
- Continuously improves the PMO processes to enhance effectiveness & efficiency for all concerned parties
- Sets standards for project management within MPET
- Owner of ServiceNow project management system and thereby providing standards, guidelines and support for MPET users of the project management system (ServiceNow)
- Provides CAPEX dash boarding for the Senior Management Team of MPET
- Preparation and execution of monthly Senior Management Team PMO meeting
- Guards (together with the terminal management) on the service delivery of projects by the different internal and external suppliers (PSA IT, ATS, external suppliers)

Next to the above PMO aspects of the role, there will be instances where the PMO coordinator will run own projects to provide capacity or capability that might be lacking in the organization at that specific time.

This role is part of the MD Office team and reports to the Head of MD Office of MPET.

Main interactions will be with: MPET (Senior) Management Team, MPET project managers, shareholder partners within CAPEX or budget positions, MPET/PSA finance teams, ATS project managers, MPET/PSA IT, MD Office team

**Profiel**:
**Education**:

- Master degree preferably with graduation in Business Engineering and/or Finance. Background in logistics and/or shipping is a strong plus

**Experience**:

- 5-7 years of experience in operational environment with emphasis on projects.
- Working experience in a global organization is an advantage.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma Methodology is an advantage.
- Experience with project management systems (ServiceNow) is an advantage.

Languages:

- Dutch and English
