About the team:
The newly created division Business Model Governance (BMG) is part of the larger Sales Business Transformation Group at Toyota Motor Europe.

About BMG’s role:
Our current Toyota/Lexus business and retail model will be transformed in line with the Toyota/Lexus strategy.

BMG’s role is to structure this transformation and our future business and retail model, especially in respect of the roles and responsibilities of all relevant Toyota/Lexus stakeholders and partners and of the governance system.

**Your responsibilities**

You will report to the Manager BMG (who is reporting to the Head of the Division).

**Your tasks will primarily relate to the **definition, organisation and implementation of the transformed Toyota/Lexus business and retail model (the “model”) for both Toyota and Lexus in Europe.**

More concretely this means:

- Supporting the scoping of the transformation of our business and retail operations needed so as to have a model that is future proof, delivers an outstanding customer experience and enables new services and revenue streams in line with the Toyota/Lexus strategy.
- Analysing and mapping the current and future roles and responsibilities of all Toyota/Lexus stakeholders involved in the model, including:

- the potential for integration of these roles and responsibilities and the efficiencies and financial effects thereof, and
- the gaps and the potential measures regarding investments, capabilities, tools and people needed to implement this potential.
- Organising and supporting the activities of the dedicated task forces organised by BMG to define and scope the above-mentioned integration of roles and responsibilities.
- Supporting the assessment of the potential for further model developments, including the risks/costs vs. benefits analysis in relation thereto.
- Conducting benchmarking studies and analyses.
- Supporting the setup and roll-out at scale of the transformed model, as well as of any further model development that might be decided, including the organisation of any possible pilot programme.
- In the framework of all the above-mentioned tasks, gathering, structuring and keeping up to date all information to be contributed by all relevant Toyota/Lexus stakeholders.

Across all the activities and tasks described above, the Senior Specialist BMG is expected:

- To have strong skills in fact-finding and analysis/assessment, incl. financial/ cost of distribution aspects
- To work and liaise closely and pro-actively with all relevant above-mentioned Toyota/Lexus stakeholders to analyse and understand “as is” situation, as well as the gaps and countermeasures (investments, capabilities, people) for the model transformation - the ability to convince and influence relevant stakeholders
- To support the reporting of BMG team’s activities to all relevant stakeholders and to TME’s top management.

Your Profile:

- University degree (Business/Project Management) / MBA is a plus
- Min 5 to 10 years’ experience in the Automotive industry
- Project planning skills are key
- Open-minded and out-of-the-box thinking
- Can work autonomously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills focussed on process analysis
- Doer - make things happen
- Result driven and performance mindset
- Motivated and persevering.
