**Als Meeting & Events Agent sta je in voor het regelen van leisure & zakelijke aanvragen van klanten, touroperators of bedrijven. Je zorgt voor een correct verloop vanaf aanvraag tot follow-up na afloop. Je zal deel uitmaken uit van een jong & dynamisch team met een breed en gevarieerd takenpakket. Commerciële, organisatorische en communicatieve vaardigheden zijn key. Jij bent mee de schakel tussen de operationele departementen zodat iedereen zijn steentje kan bijdragen tot een succesvol event**

**TAKEN & VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN**
- Geeft informatie m.b.t. prijzen, faciliteiten en vraagt grondig door voor een gerichte prijsopmaak (concurrentie, budget, flexibiliteit, etc.);
- Correcte input van de gegevens in het reservatiesysteem IDPMS;
- Beheren van de toegewezen dossiers van A tot Z: uitsturen gepersonaliseerde offerte (max. 48u na aanvraag), opvolging opties, opmaken contract, opvolgen deposits en betalingen volgens de vooropgestelde procedures, kamerlijsten, function sheets, follow up call na afloop evenement, etc.);
- Voorbereiden van zaalaanduidingen
- Wekelijks bijwonen “function meeting” en verzorgen van ‘function sheets’
- Ontvangt de organisatoren van events in het hotel;
- Up-to-date houden van parate kennis van markt en concurrentie;
- Up-to-date houden van grondige kennis van het hotel en zijn faciliteiten en de onmiddellijke omgeving;
- Klachtenbehandeling
- Vlotte en duidelijke communicatie met alle betrokken departementen;
- Goede contacten onderhouden met bedrijven en event planners;
- Stelt facturen op voor de deposits alsook opvolging van de van de betaling
**SECUNDAIRE VERWACHTINGEN**
- Woont vergaderingen bij die binnen de afdeling en/of het hotel worden georganiseerd;
- Gaat op een verantwoordelijke manier om met de materialen van het bedrijf;
- Staat in voor netheid en orde op de eigen werkplek.
**TRAINING & ONTWIKKELING**
- Neemt deel aan relevante opleidingen voorzien en gevraagd door de leidinggevende en/of het hotel.
