**Innovation - Ideation Leader - Group Digital Capabilities (BRUSSELS)**

**Description**:
Emerging technologies such as Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), cloud, artificial intelligence and API coupled with strategic trends such as ESG could be game-changers for our industry. Euroclear seeks to seize opportunities created by these new technologies and strategic trends to develop product, services and capabilities addressing market inefficiencies and strengthen Euroclear market infrastructure role.

The Innovation tribe within IT is the delivery arm of these game changing digital capabilities, across business lines and entities. To support its growth and ambitions, we are reinforcing the team with an IT Ideation Leader, that will focus on early stage ideas and work collegially with business colleagues to bring these rom ideation to incubation. The IT Ideation Leader will also be an active participant to non-organic growth opportunities assessment.

Leading and navigating cross-functional efforts should come naturally, along with partnering with innovation and product management to synthesize a variety of technologies and capabilities, also externally sourced, into promising proof of concepts.

**Role**:
By joining the Innovation Tribe as Ideation Leader, you will be in charge of:

- Leading the delivery and defining the target operating model of strategic innovation initiatives
- Participating in non-organic growth opportunities
- Market watching: scouting, analysing and disseminating key technology trends and articulating the related value creation
- Driving new opportunities from a technical perspective, from the initial ideation / Proof of Concept stage, through acceleration and scale up phases, together with our external partners
- Evangelising the opportunities created by new technologies for Euroclear, acting as an ambassador as well as being able to understand and demonstrate the risks that it brings, with special focus on competitive elements.
- Acting as Technology sparring partner for Business when exploring potential new Business Opportunities
- Documenting and animating the ideation backlog from an IT perspective

**Qualifications**:
**Profile**:
You will need good communication and interpersonal skills, among peers, business and senior leaders within the organization.

The Ideation Leader must also possess strong leadership skills, being able to provide direction and influence decisions; while being able to shift rapidly.

He/She must also work comfortably in group/collaborative setting or with business executives and stakeholders, have an ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects and meet tight deadlines, and have an ability to remain calm under pressure and in the face of uncertainty.

**The other skills required for this role are**:

- Organizational and analytical skills.
- You acquire approval of others with good arguments, appropriate influencing methods and personal authority (persuasion)
- You are result-oriented and have solid ability to handle changes
- Have a network among innovation communities in the financial industry is a plus
- You are proficient in English.
