DESCRIPTION:
As a Support Technician Automation, the following tasks fall under your responsibility:
- This function is responsible for the 1st and 2nd line support of the automation systems. The main tasks will be to handle operational support calls. In addition, tasks such as periodic maintenance, monitoring and trouble shooting of related automation systems will be core tasks in this function as well as changes and improvements to this.
- Follow-up of small automation infrastructure projects are also part of the tasks.
- All tasks are situated in the domain of the industrial IT infrastructure and of the integration of automated production systems with the overarching systems.
- Together with the colleagues, he/she offers permanent user support for all Process Automation systems.
- You communicate your actions and proposals to the team and ensure good documentation
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor diploma
- Interested in automation, electronics or ICT
- Strong in teamwork, good communication and social skills.
- Works driven and independent, shows ownership.
- Analytical insight: strong in detecting causes of problems.
- Hands-on mentaliteit.
- Being willing to work in a shift system, 3 shifts V-L-N
- The following knowledge and experience is an asset:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- A first work experience in a production environment or as a support technician is a plus.
- Knowledge of virtualization software w.o. vmware
- Knowledge of SCADA systems
- Customer focus is of paramount importance to you.
- Strong helicopter view.
Networker with a healthy dose of persuasion.
