Introduction
Daily contact with the retailers and your Sales Representatives colleagues: booking orders, providing information regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery and suggesting alternative products. Just a couple of tasks of the Customer Service employee position within Shimano Belgium
In this role you will become part of an enthusiastic Customer Service team consisting of 6 colleagues in our brand-new office in Mechelen.
Is helping retailers giving you a lot of energy, do you like variety (no day is the same), are you able to perform under pressure and are you accurate? Last but not least: do you want to become the newest member of the most fun team within Shimano?

The Challenge
- Provide customers with pricing, product, availability, delivery information on placed orders and support them with technical issues (often E bike related).
- Suggest alternative or additional products to customers to best match their needs or through company initiatives.
- Receive and process customer orders, inquiries, or complaints as the first line of support then escalating where necessary.
- Be a link between customer & sales teams to maximize responsiveness, share key information and support sales goals.
- Track the status of customer orders and alert responsible people should there be a deviation from plans or a bottleneck.
- Check credit within established limitations to confirm customer orders.
What are we looking for?
- 1-3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Excellent language skills in Dutch and French.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of the bike products / industry is considered a plus.
