**About The Role**:
As a Consumer Marketing Manager Aveda, you will build the 360° marketing plan both offline and online for the brand, in coordination with Product Marketing, Trade Marketing, Merchandising and Online teams.
Increasing awareness and recruiting new consumers is top priority, you are at the heart of the consumer marketing strategy for your brands and work with the teams to execute, analyse and challenge it where necessary.
As a Consumer Marketing Manager Aveda, you will report to the General Brand Manager of the Brand.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Define marketing strategy based on analysis of competitive landscape and trends in markets, customers, products, prices, and channels to identify opportunities for growth and profit enhancement
- Define and align on the Consumer Calendar (launches, key shopping moments, retailers activities) for all channels, working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Analyse, interpret and convert customer needs into brand strategy in a seamless way both offline and online
- Derive and adapt the Global/Regional marketing strategy to maximize local relevancy
- Define the target consumer profile(s), adapting Global / Regional guidelines to local opportunities
- Translate local consumer insights into marketing and selling opportunities
- Define and own the Consumer Journey(s), combining all communication and distribution channels
- Define the advertising and distribution mix for the upcoming year including the Paid, Owned, Earned and COOP
- Work closely with the Retail and Visual Merchandising teams on innovation and continuous improvement of in-store consumer experience
- Manage the Consumer Marketing team, including Trade Marketing
**Qualifications**
- Excellent written and spoken communications in Dutch, English and French
- Experience in a consumer driven industry and/or retail
- Experience with budget management
- Analytical mind
- Very strong communication skills and experience with people management
- Creative & innovative thinking, excellent team player and interpersonal skills
- Organization, orientation to detail, self-motivation, energy
