For a leading international company active in the retail sector, I am looking for a Legal Counsel in Commercial & e-Commerce Law, with around 2-6 years’ experience as Lawyer or Legal Counsel with a very good knowledge of French & English. In Brussels.

**FUNCTION**:
As a member of the Legal team, you will be involved in the e-commerce projects in Belgium and the development of the marketplace at European level.

As Legal Counsel your role will consist, in particular, of:

- Support the company’s e-commerce and marketplace projects by ensuring its compliance with applicable and future regulations
- Assist the various operational departments of the project in their daily practice and as developments progress in order to enlighten them on the issues and legal impacts and guide them in their decisions
- Support the other European countries, partners of the project, on the legal aspects
- Assist the Legal Manager in the legal co-management of the e-commerce and marketplace project

**SEARCHED PROFILE**:

- Master in Law
- Around 2-6 years of experience in commercial law and business law in a law firm or in a company. Experience in e-commerce and marketplace/platform law is an asset
- Fluent in French and English. Good knowledge of Dutch is an asset
- Excellent analytical, writing and organizational skills
- Dynamic, responsive, and you know how to be adaptable and creative
- Team player, while being autonomous and proactive
