SAP IS-U Functional Analyst – Energy MarketsBrussels | Permanent Contract (CDI)Are you passionate about complex information systems, business processes, and the energy sector?We are looking for a SAP IS-U Functional Analyst to analyze, design, and optimize business processes related to electricity and/or gas markets.This role is intended for professionals with at least 3 years of professional experience after graduation, combining strong functional SAP expertise with a solid understanding of energy market mechanisms.Your main responsibilitiesBusiness requirements analysisWork closely with business stakeholders (distribution, supply, billing, regulatory, market communication teams).Analyze and formalize business needs related to energy processes (customer management, contracts, metering, billing, market communication).Translate business requirements into functional specifications within SAP IS-U.Functional design & SAP expertiseWrite detailed functional specifications (FS, user stories, process flows).Configure and/or challenge SAP IS-U solutions (FI-CA, Billing, Device Management, Market Communication, etc.).Propose solutions aligned with regulatory constraints and operational requirements of the energy sector.Desired profileFunctional & domain expertiseStrong experience with SAP IS-U (one or more core modules).Good knowledge of energy markets (electricity and/or gas): actors, processes, regulatory frameworks.End-to-end understanding of energy business processes, from customer onboarding to settlement.Analytical & communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication skills with both business and IT stakeholders.Ability to synthesize complex topics into clear, actionable solutions.Methodology & mindsetFamiliarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).Comfortable working in complex and transforming environments.Curious, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.Nice to haveKnowledge of market communication standards (EDIEL, MIG, etc.).Experience with regulated environments or energy players (DSO, supplier, TSO).About eXalteXalt is a community of more than 1,350 consultants, multilingual digital specialists dedicated to transformation and Product & Project Management.Founded in 2018 around the values of intrapreneurship, co-learning, and co-construction, eXalt bases its development on a strong commitment to its clients and teams: remaining, for a long time to come, a startup-minded consulting firm, agile and constantly reinventing itself.
