Position Context
As part of the development of its Transmission & Distribution activities in Belgium and internationally, Tractebel is seeking a Project Manager & Tender Engineer to strengthen its team specialized in high
- and medium-voltage electrical infrastructures. The successful candidate will contribute to the management of engineering, construction and commissioning projects for substations, power lines, industrial grid connections and projects related to the energy transition. Under the supervision of experienced Project Managers, the candidate will also contribute to the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management Manage HV and MV electrical infrastructure projects from studies and construction supervision through commissioning on behalf of clients (grid operators, industrial customers and project developers). Coordinate multidisciplinary teams. Ensure compliance with cost, schedule, quality, safety and performance objectives. Ensure risk management, reporting and contract management. Financial Management Monitor the financial performance of assigned projects. Prepare and follow up cost, revenue and margin forecasts. Contribute to the optimization of project profitability from the proposal stage. Technical Support and Engineering Participate in defining technical solutions. Contribute to the preparation of technical specifications and the analysis of supplier and contractor proposals on behalf of clients, with the support of technical experts. Contribute to CAPEX estimates and project planning. Construction and Commissioning on Behalf of Clients Coordinate construction and commissioning activities with the technical teams. Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and monitor corrective actions. Proposal Preparation and Commercial Support Participate in the identification and analysis of business opportunities. Prepare technical and commercial/contractual proposals with the support of technical experts. Prepare cost estimates, risk assessments and budget calculations. Participate in technical and commercial clarifications. Client Relationship Participate in meetings with clients. Contribute to client satisfaction and the development of long-term relationships. Education Industrial Engineer or Master’s degree in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Experience 3 to 8 years of experience in technical projects or electrical infrastructure projects. Good knowledge of HV and MV infrastructures. Knowledge of European TSO technical standards is an asset. Interest in business development and tendering activities. Languages Professional proficiency in French, Dutch and English.
