Role Description The Logistics Director for the California Sports Sunglass Brand (Cycling, Baseball, Racquet) at SUPACAZ is a full-time, on-site role based in Hong Kong SAR. This role oversees end-to-end logistics operations for sports sunglasses, including demand planning, inventory management, and coordination of inbound and outbound shipments across global markets. The Logistics Director will manage relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and distribution partners to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery and optimal stock levels. Daily responsibilities include monitoring logistics performance, resolving shipment and customs issues, optimizing transportation and warehousing strategies, and implementing process improvements. The role also involves collaborating closely with product, sales, and operations teams to support new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and regional growth initiatives.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Sports and Sports Management skills to understand product usage, seasonal demand cycles, and coordination with sports-focused sales and marketing strategies.
• Candidates should possess solid Communication and Coaching skills to lead logistics teams, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and guide vendors and internal stakeholders toward operational excellence.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Physical Education or related sports disciplines to align logistics priorities with athlete and consumer performance needs across cycling, baseball, and racquet sports.
• Extensive experience in logistics, supply chain management, or operations coordination, ideally within sporting goods, eyewear, or consumer products.
• Proficiency in inventory planning, demand forecasting, and data-driven decision-making using logistics or ERP systems.
• Proven ability to manage international shipping, customs processes, and compliance for multi-region distribution.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and timelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Sports Management, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) are beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Hong Kong SAR and collaborate across multiple time zones and cultural environments.
