Area Sales Manager for Belux

We are looking for an AREA SALES MANAGER FOR Belgium (Flemish part) (based in Belgium).
Depending on the Country Manager BELUX you will be responsible of:
- Achieving qualitative and quantitative targets
- Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of existing Key Accounts by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives, permanent advice on new products, solutions, services, market trends…
- Project management and development.
- Identification and opening of new accounts.
- Detection of new market opportunities.
- Analysis and market research.
- Knowledge of the Belgium lighting market to identify business opportunities, specifically in the hospitality sector and the specification channel.
- Knowledge of the prescription channel: Architects, interior designers, lighting designers, etc.
- Knowledge of Belgium Lighting Market and its distribution structure, experience with architects, projects, installers, end-customer market.
- Attendance, when required, to trade fairs and specific events.
- You will work from your home office but target to spend as much quality time possible with your customers and prospects.
Qualifications
The successful Applicant will have:
- Experience in Belgium lighting market and its distribution structure, experience with architects, projects, installers, end-customer market.
- Fluent in Dutch, English, and French. (Spanish would be a plus).
- Availability to travel, inside of Belgium and couple of times a year to our headquarters in Barcelona.
- Ability to identify new sales opportunities, negotiation/ selling abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work and plan you agenda independently.
- Ability to generate and provide added value to the customer.
- Goal-oriented and objective-driven
