Job Description:
As a Revenue Growth Manager, you will strategically advance the business by designing promotion, portfolio mix, and pricing strategies to develop and increase sales growth. This highly visible role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders, including the leadership team.
Revenue Growth Management serves as a strategic enabler within the company, aiming to maximize revenue growth through disciplined analytics across key business areas, particularly pricing, pack price portfolio, promotions, and portfolio mix strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop robust plans for key RGM levers based on reliable assumptions and insights.
- Allocate resources based on ROI analytics and growth potential.
- Create differentiated channel and segment-specific PPAs based on shopper and consumer needs.
- Ensure commercial pricing and trade investment policies are fact-based and consistent across channels and customer segments, promoting collaboration with trade partners.
- Utilize ROI analytics and post-event analysis to guide promotional spending across customers.
- Break down volume, net sales, and gross profit targets across key levers (pricing, PPA, mix, promo, trade spend) to meet market unit requirements.
Lead strategic projects to achieve Net Sales Realization goals:
- Insight-led pricing and PPA.
- Trade (promo) optimization and execution guidelines.
- Portfolio mix goals and optimization plans.
Oversee the strategic plan to annual plan to quarterly forecast process:
- Set annual plan targets across RGM levers.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of RGM performance drivers.
- Direct forecast correction priorities.
- Update trade execution guidelines.
Implement group-wide project plans to build long-term RGM capability across market units:
- Establish KPIs and foster an organizational culture.
- Develop systems roadmap and oversee implementation.
In this role, you will be evaluated on net sales per kilogram (NS/KG) in addition to standard business metrics such as topline growth, gross margin expansion, and value share, as well as specific project-based deliverables.
Languages:
- Fluency in Dutch or French and English.
Education:
- Master's degree.
Knowledge/Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Revenue Growth Management role.
- Proven track record of using insights and analytics to build RGM strategies.
- Experience in blue-chip FMCG (sales, marketing, finance) or strategy consulting.
- P&L knowledge and commercial planning and execution skills with a solid understanding of FMCG business fundamentals.
- Proven strategic thinking skills, including advanced analysis of strategic choices, priorities, and implications for the business, as well as a strong understanding of a broad set of business issues, market, trade, and competitive environment.
- Outstanding influencing skills with the ability to lead and drive cross-functional support and alignment, and experience in managing complex cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and use appropriate tools and techniques to plan, secure resources for, manage, assist, and ensure the progress and ultimate completion of designated change programs.
- Cultural agility and organizational savvy to work effectively with different leadership styles.
