Job Description
Are you an experienced professional with a passion for managing strategic relationships, driving business growth, and making an impact in the public sector? We are seeking a highly motivated Executive Account Manager to join our team in Brussels, Belgium.
This role offers the opportunity to work with public sector clients, particularly in education (e.g., universities), and to play a critical role in achieving the company's ambitious growth goals in the enterprise ICT space.
Responsibilities
Strategic Relationship Management:
- Develop and manage strong relationships with senior managers, IT departments, procurement teams, and project teams within public sector organizations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Revenue and Market Growth:
- Drive revenue growth and profitability by implementing strategic business plans and identifying opportunities for market penetration.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with customer needs.
Market Intelligence and Branding:
- Provide feedback to leadership on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product and service development.
- Plan and support branding and marketing initiatives within the enterprise sector.
Industry Engagement:
- Represent the company at industry events, technology forums, and conferences.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Experience:
- 5–10 years of experience in the enterprise ICT business within the Benelux region, focusing on the public sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in working with public sector clients, especially in education (e.g., universities), and aligning sales strategies to their needs.
Technical Knowledge:
- Strong background in ICT solutions, including servers, storage, networks, cloud technologies, and enterprise applications.
Skills:
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with a proven ability to pitch and close new business deals.
- Proven track record of generating leads, increasing revenue, and achieving sales targets.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Proficiency in at least one additional language: Dutch, French, or German.
