We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Business Analyst to join our team at SII Belgium. The Business Analyst will be responsible for working closely with our clients to understand their business needs and requirements, and then translating those into technical solutions. You would join various teams working in Agile mode for projects in the Energy, Retail, Banking or Telecom sectors.SII is a European digital and engineering services company of 16,000 experts. SII is committed to a sustainable digital world and is recognized as a great workplace.Key Responsibilities:Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for new projects and initiativesWork closely with clients to understand their needs and goalsCreate detailed project plans and timelinesWrite functional specifications for data processing chainsIdentify and mitigate project risksSupport, manage the development of projects and coordinate stakeholders.Communicate project progress and status to stakeholdersWrite user and business guides, design training or information materials product.Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the clientQualifications:Proven experience in a Business or Functional Analyst roleMaster's degree in Computer science or any other relevant fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsFamiliarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)Experience in UML modeling tools or business process toolsKnowledge of relational databases and being able to write database queries (SQL)Strong understanding of the software development life cycleTeam player with active listening and comprehensionPro-active and assertiveFluent in English and Dutch or English and French (trilingual is a plus)We offer:A challenging and varied role in a growing companyOpportunity to work with the latest technologiesCompetitive salary and benefitsOpportunity to improve your skills and knowledge through training and educationWarm and open company culture, supported by an international groupIf you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for technology and business, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity with SII Belgium.
