IT Project Lead
The client is initiating a large project to replace the current legacy parts logistics system (running on mainframe). The new system implementation is split into several (functional) modules.
Each module will follow it's own timeline and some modules will be implemented in parallel.

One of the first modules to be implemented is DPMM (Dealer Parts Mgmt Module), which will replace our current dealer order entry module (DOS).

DPMM needs to be rolled out to 17 NMSCs (National Marketing & Sales Companies) in the coming 2 years. In most cases, DPMM will need to be integrated in the local DMS (Dealer Mgmt System).

We are looking for an IT project lead to work alongside the DPMM Business Product Owners to achieve this ambitious rollout timeline.

Explain DPMM functionality/architecure to an NMSC audience (POs focus on business functionality, IT proj lead on the technical aspects) Discuss potential DPMM implementation options with NMSCs (and their DMS providers) Agree on a realistic implementation timeline, based on a clear understanding of what needs to be done Coordinate the actual DPMM implementation with the NMSCs and the DPMM dev team.

Core competency skill sets required for Vendor delivery

Technical:

  • University degree Business and/or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant post qualification experience.
  • Experience in working in an agile environment.

Profiel

Expertise/Skills:

  • A strong technical background & good communication skills
  • Ability to assess system impact based on understanding of functional requirements.
  • Ability to develop and execute a project plan incl. necessary stakeholder touchpoints.
  • Pragmatic & creative, capable of finding workable solutions when confronted with issues (and to align on them with NMSCs)
  • Diplomatic / sense of people relationships / team player
  • Focused and stress resistant
  • Fluent spoken & written English is a must.
  • Willingness to travel (occasionally, short trips within Europe).
  • Experience in automative is a plus
