We have an exciting new job opportunity at our location in Brussels (Belgium) and are looking to hire a business analytics manager within our data & analytics team.


Our company's data & analytics team for BeLux is dedicated to deliver breakthrough data products supporting our decision makers in their data journey and overall business strategy.

Our portfolio consists of predictive and descriptive analytics solutions, including next generation data projects. We aim at making the data talk.


As a business analytics manager, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and informing strategic decision-making within the BeLux organisation.

You will be responsible for analyzing complex data and providing strategic insights to enhance operational efficiency and optimize performance.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to identify key business issues, develop data-driven solutions, and support the implementation of strategic initiatives.


You will report to and work in close collaboration with the data & analytics lead and you will be part of a team of 5 talented data experts.

The team generates, analyzes, models, and visualizes data, with the aim to deliver actionable insights, enable data-informed decision making, and promote a data driven culture.

KEY RESULT AREAS & TASKS

  • Lead and execute SFE projects, including targeting and segmentation
  • Coordinate primary market research initiatives, generating valuable insights for successful product positioning and launch strategies
  • Collaborate with various teams including marketing, finance and operations to identify areas of improvement and develop datadriven solutions to optimize processes, increase efficiency, and drive profitability
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define business objectives, goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of large datasets using statistical and data visualization techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business performance
  • Leverage basic front end visualization skills to address data needs and create reporting
  • Lead and manage strategic projects from initiation to completion. Ensure effective coordination, timely execution, and successful implementation of initiatives
  • Partner with data team colleagues and IT stakeholders to deliver on priorities, ensure alignment and resolve impediments
  • Connect with global and regional teams to exchange best practices and collaborate on new projects that could be scaled across the region
  • Collaborate with external suppliers: prepare strategic meetings, followup contract and budget tracking
  • Enhance operational efficiency and optimize performance: from standard operating model to operational excellence.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, Analytics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in business analytics, strategy development, and datadriven decisionmaking
  • Strong understanding of Data & Analytics concepts
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills with expertise in data analysis tools
  • Proven experience in working with crossfunctional teams that are based in Belgium or abroad.
  • Knowing how to get things done via nonhierarchical influence.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Qlik Sense (Power BI)
  • Comfort in manipulating and analyzing complex data from diverse sources
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and problemsolving abilities
  • Solid foundations in data with previous experience operating as an individual contributor with data skills
  • Experience in project management and working with crossfunctional teams
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in business analytics and strategy
  • Fluent in English + French or Dutch
