De dienst Externe Communicatie van de POD Wetenschapsbeleid is op zoek naar een nieuwe collega.

Als medewerker externe communicatie werk je mee aan het opstellen van een (externe) communicatieplan van de organisatie en nadien aan de implementering van de voorgestelde acties, met inbegrip van evenementen (activiteiten voor het grote publiek, persconferenties enz.), in samenwerking met de collega's van de dienst en andere diensten. Het kan hier gaan om diensten binnen het eigen huis of om de 10 Federale Wetenschappelijke Instellingen (FWI). Dit betekent o.a. dat je voor de volgende aspecten zorgt:

- Je ondersteunt de twee woordvoerders van de POD.
- Je werkt mee aan verschillende communicatieprojecten, voert er taken van uit en begeleidt deze om de doelstellingen van het project binnen de vooropgestelde termijn te bereiken.
- Je zorgt voor contacten met de pers en helpt bij crisiscommunicatie.
- Je brengt doeltreffende en duurzame interne en externe samenwerkingsverbanden tot stand die voor een constructieve communicatie met diezelfde partners zorgen.
- Je draagt bij tot het definiëren, ontwikkelen en toepassen van strategische richtlijnen en operationele standaarden inzake communicatie met als doel aan een coherent communicatiebeleid en een communicatiecultuur binnen het departement te ontwikkelen en zo een positief imago naar de burger uit te stralen.

**Werkgever**:
De programmatorische federale overheidsdienst (POD) Wetenschapsbeleid, ook bekend als BELSPO, heeft als opdracht het federaal wetenschapsbeleid voor te bereiden, ten uitvoer te leggen en te evalueren. Dankzij de tien federale wetenschappelijke instellingen (FWI) die deel uitmaken van de POD Wetenschapsbeleid, beheert en promoot BELSPO een wetenschappelijk en cultureel patrimonium dat op 3,5 miljard euro (netto boekhoudwaarde) wordt geraamd.

De dienst Externe Communicatie maakt deel uit van de directie Diensten van de Voorzitter van de POD Wetenschapsbeleid. De dienst heeft momenteel 5 medewerkers (2 woordvoerders inbegrepen) die o.a. voor de relaties met de communicatiemedewerkers van de FWI en met de pers zorgen, zich bezig houden met de sociale en audiovisuele media, alsook met de publicatie van de magazine "Science Connection".
