Business Area Lead Building Facilities Management

As Building Facilities Management BAL (BFM BAL), you will be reporting to the Stations Manager of the NMBS-SNCB Directorate B-Stations. This Business Area is responsible for implementing and maintaining tools to manage the NMBS-SNCB Real Estate portfolio, including stations, concessions, parkings, lands, and buildings, throughout various stages from new tool studies to application enhancements.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main contact for the Business Product Manager
- Hold end-to-end accountability for IT aspects of assigned projects/applications/components
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to define business needs, establish vision, roadmap, and necessary features
- Manage projects in your portfolio, oversee project backlog, coordinate delivery, and review user stories
- Lead the scrum team following agile methodologies
- Take full cost ownership of the designated project/application portfolio
- Provide regular project updates on different levels, including Steerco
- Conduct evaluations and HR-related activities for internal employees
Requirements:
- Master's degree or equivalent experience
- Solid experience in the Public Transport Sector, particularly in Real Estate applications
- 5-10 years of relevant professional experience as a Team Lead or Project Manager
- Strong technical background to manage technology products and project management expertise
- Proactive approach to innovation, keeping abreast of market technologies and competitors
- Proficiency in Dutch or French and English
- Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for assigned components
