**Our vision for MMS at BD**

With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to manage multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to have medications available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams.

**About the role**

We are looking for an eager profile with commercial aptitude and a proven track record that is IT savvy to become Solution Manager within our MMS commercial team in the Benelux Region, covering the complete portfolio of MMS solutions and driving our Connected Medication Management vision.

As a Solution Manager your activities will be clustered around 3 themes:

- Commercial customer engagement (Presales demo’s, let customers dream, implement the solution)
- Connect with partners outside of BD to have our product offering integrated in the hospital solution suite
- Product development alignment to have local requirements developed.

The ultimate purpose of the role is to generate incremental revenues and profit through positioning new and existing business solutions that are focused on improving patient safety and productivity across the continuum of care and thereby delivering our vision of Connected Medication Management.

The Solution Manager will be a key pillar of the local commercial team by designing and delivering solutions that position MMS technologies based on analysis of our customers’ clinical, operational and IT processes, grounded in strong customer insight and anchored on our customers’ strategic imperatives.

The Solution Manager will play a critical role in our presales, sales and post-sales process and will work closely with key customer stakeholders, BD Account Managers and the complete local and regional MMS teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

**Your competencies, skills and experience**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in commercial sciences/engineering or IT, experience in the healthcare environment is a plus
- Fluency in Dutch, French and English both written and spoken.
- Strong business acumen and commercial drive. Performance oriented and able to deliver agreed targets. You are agile and results driven with a strong focus on sales execution.
- Experience with solution selling and/or consultative selling is a plus
- You are great in project management and/or have a Lean background preferably within the health care sector, mapping business process and working through all steps of the solution selling approach.
- You challenge the “status-quo” and push yourself and others for better results
- Previous Healthcare IT experience preferred. Understanding of how interfacing & integrations work is preferred
