**Mission**:
You are the Subject Matter Expert for distribution and cost related process’
As a true expert you are able to improve the current processes while maintaining a good contact with clients, suppliers, colleagues and other stakeholders. You will be the key component in realising the necessary change management by implementing these new processes as well as foresee follow-up and reporting.
You remain as well responsible for the daily work related to distribution & cost.

**Tasks**:
You support the Manpower Distribution & Cost Manager in the coordination of the team role and responsibilities.

You are the reference point for the team and other department for cost and distribution related process’

You make sure that the team target regarding Cost and Performance are met and take action in case of deviation.

You play an active role in procedure changes, continuous improvement and project management for cost and distribution related process’ and topics. In this regard you are the SME for other departments.

You participate in transversal company-wide forum to discuss and improve international standard and economy of scale.

You step in for the team in case of issues or emergencies to find solutions and to avoid consequences for the people or production.

You take functional lead over team members and are implicated in their personnel development and coaching.

You supervise physically the different distribution and cost projects in the different belgian locations.

You also have the knowledge of cost and distribution in other departments and country entities and think of solutions in a company-wide mindset.

You and your colleagues actively contribute to developing “one-company” culture and like to take up responsibility and are not afraid of taking initiative.

Supplier management:

- Maintain a good relationship with current and new suppliers
- Renew contracts and renegotiate prices in function of the needs of the organisation

Change management:

- As an expert you know where to implement change to optimize current processes and reduce costs
- You will record the new processes in a guideline or SOP
- Implement new processes and coach distribution and cost officer
- Follow up new processes and foresee reporting

Next to your coordinator role you also remain responsible for among others but not limited to the following Cost & Distribution responsibilities:
Stock management:

- Daily follow up of facility needs, via a pre-set stock file.
- Daily follow up of complaints concerning stock management.

Vehicle management:

- Daily follow up of vehicles (insurance, maintenance, repairs,..)
- Daily follow up of complaints concerning vehicle management

Order management:

- Create purchase orders based on the stock file with suppliers
- Verifies, directly, via the local scheduler or other, if goods/services have been delivered correctly.
- Verifies/approves all distribution invoices of non-personal costs and contacts suppliers in case of deviations.
- Verifies/approves all distribution invoices of third parties and contacts suppliers in case of deviations.
- Daily follow up of complaints concerning order management.

Provides administrative support to the distribution and cost manager
- Daily follow-up of the proper execution of distribution contracts.
- Give a heads up when abnormalities or recurrent deviations take place.
- Participate in meetings when determined necessary

Other cost/distribution related or local support tasks defined by the Distribution & Cost team

**Profile**:

- Expert in all related distribution and cost related process
- You are solution oriented, can focus on the bigger picture and act in the interest of a national and international solution.
- You can coach and motivate people and are an enabler to change
- IT knowledge: Excel, Navision, Exarte
- Dutch or French: very good knowledge. English : good
- German is a plus
- Bachelor degree in logistics or equivalent trough experience
- You are a fast, solution-oriented thinker with an eye for details
- You take a helicopter view on all aspects of cost and distribution and think of national and international solutions.
- You are well organized and able to prioritize in a context of changing priorities
- You have strong communication skills both in writing and oral
- You create a good team spirit: without your colleagues and your partners, you cannot start anything in this role. Such colleagues may be seated next to you at the table or in a different location.
