**Your responsibilities**

Your main responsibility as a **HR compensation and benefits officer **is to ensure a smooth monthly salary payment and bringing a broad knowledge in the area of reward & recognition and social legislation to support our employees and managers.

Besides that you are responsible for the following fields:
Compensation & benefits
- Guard and adapt, create proposals for the employee benefits policy in order to maintain fair employee benefits which are in line with the market demands and the guidelines of the company in order to pay performance and reward excellent performance.
- Develop a consistent compensation philosophy in line with work culture and organizational objectives
- Guard the development of the employee benefits budget, research and develop benchmarks and advice on the implementation of employee benefits.
- Annual merit review process, your expertise will blend in to the HR process to ensure a good result and spotless execution.
- Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation (pay equity, human rights, etc.)
- Design and update specific regulations within the employee benefits policy. Ensure that all insurances such as pension and health insurance are implemented and checked.
- Participating in and/or leading HR C&B projects focused on continuous improvement

Salary management - Payroll execution
- Responsible for monthly salary payment towards all employees. Have close contact with salary company who takes care of correct salary payment
- Have ownership for the pay-out part of the variable bonus program
- Guard and adapt new labour rules for salary payment and implement when needed. First contact point for salary questions & administration

Systems
- Manage all external HR systems & HR Administration in line with the company rules and regulations in order to reach the highest score in a correct way
- Improve existing HR systems. Prepare audits and take care of all HR processes (GPPM) according to the rules and regulations of the company

Other
- Support several HR Projects with international scope
- You are the intermediate with 3rd party partners (interim offices,)
- Onboarding and providing guidance to new joiners

**Your team**

Samsung Electronics is a Benelux organization where we work closely together as one HR team. The HR team is located on two locations, one in the Netherlands and one in Belgium. Currently, we are looking for an HR Compensation & Benefits Officer, to join our C&B Center of Expertise. The Center of Expertise consists of 2 members, one in our Dutch office and one in our Belgian office. You will be based in our Belgian office.

**Skills and Qualifications**

The ideal **HR compensation and benefits officer **recognize themselves in the following profile:

- Bachelor degree
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience
- Preferably trilingual (Dutch, English and French)
- Proactive - take initiative
- Project (lead) experience
- Ability to drive change
- Advising skills
- Problem solving skills
- Communication skills
- Organization skills
- To be accurate is a second nature
- Able to gather and analyze facts and statistics
- Excellent Excel knowledge
