Duurzaamheid

Je wordt een van onze collega’s in het Duurzaamheidsteam binnen de perimeter van de CEO. Wij zijn de drijvende kracht achter de duurzaamheidsstrategie en -benadering en zetten ons 100% in voor het versnellen van de omslag naar een duurzame Belgische samenleving. Belfius heeft een belangrijke ambitie om ‘Meaningful & Inspiring for Belgian Society’ te zijn, waarbij we onze positieve impact maximaal willen uitstippelen en tegelijkertijd onze negatieve voetafdruk zo klein mogelijk willen houden. Daarom doen we ook wat we zeggen en zetten we onze klanten ertoe aan om hun eigen duurzaamheidsdoelstellingen in handen te nemen. Om die grote uitdaging tot een goed einde te brengen, zijn wij op zoek naar een Expert Duurzaamheid met een groot hart voor ESG

Jouw kerntaken
- Je vervult een ondersteunende rol in het uitstippelen van de duurzaamheidsstrategie van Belfius en in nauw overleg met de business lines stem je die af op de globale business-strategie.
- Jij geeft een correcte interpretatie van de strategische ESG-behoeften van de business lines en zet die om in businessopportuniteiten die zijn afgestemd op onze ESG- strategie en -ervaring. Je treedt op als ESG-expert voor de aan duurzaamheid gelinkte projecten voor de business lines.
- Jij maakt een grondige analyse van en interpreteert de vereisten inzake regelgeving van de EU-taxonomie en zet die om in duidelijke richtlijnen en vereisten voor de ontwikkeling van onze duurzame producten. Je vertaalt die in datavereisten en beoordeelt de datakwaliteit. Je draagt bij tot de rapportering over de taxonomie van de groep, interpreteert de kwantitatieve resultaten, schrijft de onderdelen van het duurzaamheidsverslag die handelen over de EU-taxonomie en identificeert verdere mogelijkheden tot verbetering. Je verschaft geregeld advies over de onderwerpen die verband houden met de EU-taxonomie en verkent de nieuwe domeinen die onder deze wetgeving vallen.
- Je bent belast met het rapporteren en het tijdig afleveren van de vereiste deliverables voor de vrijwillige ESG-verbintenissen i.v.m. het Global Compact van de VN en de Principes van d VN over Verantwoord Bankieren. Daarvoor zijn een geregelde update en verbetering nodig van de impactanalyse, waarbij duurzaamheidsdoelstellingen worden uitgewerkt die afgestemd zijn op die vrijwillige richtlijnen, samen met het ESG-datateam, en waarbij toezicht wordt gehouden op de correcte en tijdige toepassing ervan samen met de betrokken business lines (follow-up van het project).
- Je treedt op als een van de Duurzaamheidsexperts van Belfius ten aanzien van de buitenwereld.
- Je ondersteunt de Head of Sustainability voor de vragen van diverse stakeholders (analisten, beleggers, de pers, ngo’s, klanten enz.) door het voorbereiden van de discussiepunten en van een grondige analyse.
- Samen met de andere ESG-teamleden speel je een belangrijke rol bij de voorbereiding van ons jaarverslag over duurzaamheid voor de content die gelinkt is aan je verantwoordelijkheid. Dat verslag, dat is afgestemd op het jaarverslag, geeft toelichting bij onze strategie, onze verwezenlijkingen, onze voorgeschiedenis en ons rendement.
- Je legt contacten met de diverse stakeholders van de bank (en haar dochterondernemingen) en behartigt hun strategische belangen m.b.t. hun duurzaamheidsimpact. In dat verband handel je altijd in de eerste plaats in het belang van de merknaam Belfius en zorg je voor duidelijke en ondubbelzinnige communicatie.
- Op basis van jouw ervaring help je bij het uitwerken van een opleidingsprogramma over duurzaamheid voor de diverse stakeholders bij Belfius. Dat kan de vorm aannemen van basiscursussen, e-learnings of webinars over gespecialiseerde onderwerpen.
