The Business Development Manager will be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales targets of Biologics Testing and other Manufacturing services. The role involves engaging with prospects and existing customers while guiding customers to Biologics services that best meet their needs. The role can be remote, but there will be need for this person to be able to travel to the France and BeNeLux territory.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Work with management to prepare and implement a comprehensive territory management plan to indicate target opportunities, potential new accounts, expansion of existing accounts and an analysis of competitor accounts.
- Provide accurate forecasts for assigned accounts/territories throughout the year to track achievements versus goals.
- Develop and qualify account leads through prospecting and frequent customer interactions.
- Gather data on potential customers in their designated geographic region.
- Handle initial inquiries and qualify all prospective opportunities. Identify drug development business model at these accounts and effectively communicate the value proposition of the company's services.
- Meet or exceed overall revenue targets and business objectives.
- Gather data on marketing trends and competition, including new services and prices.
- On a daily basis, use CRM (Salesforce) to capture customer information.
- Complete all required sales documentation in a timely manner.
- Share customer problems/concerns with all appropriate departments for quality resolution.

**Your qualifications**
- Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in life sciences, biology.
- Language: fluent in English.
- Established sales experience in life sciences industry: combined technical and sales experience. Previous experience in quality control and/or analytical development acquired in the biotech/biopharma industry will be preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
- Strong ability to identify and qualify customer needs. Ability to identify and tackle obstacles to the sales process.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence at the highest organizational levels.
- Valid driver’s license required.

**Other**
- This position will be home based and requires regular travels (domestics and abroad) up to 50 % of the time.
- Base Salary and 20% SCP, car allowance, full IT equipment and various benefits according to the country where you are located.
