In order to support our Ghent South activities (Belgium), we are looking for a **Customer Service Lab Supervisor**
The customer service laboratory (CSL) is providing technical service to the laminated glass industry for automotive and architectural glass market.
The CSL supervisor is responsible for the coordination, organization, and execution of the laboratory activities for the EMEA region.
This person is the primary contact for our technical and commercial organization. She/he plays an important role in the technical support to customers and new project development.

As CSL supervisor, you
- coordinate CSL activities to maximize service and responsiveness to our customers.
- support customer technical collaboration programs with major European accounts.
- actively participate in commercialization of new product introduction and coordinate testing programs and resolution of technical issues
- develop the CSL organization such that it continues to successfully enable best-in-class and in-time technical support to customers.
- implement new test methods for performance characterization of laminated glass.
- provide for safe and environmentally responsible practices in the lab.
- provide training to Saflex personnel and give presentations in case of customer visits.
- support by providing guidance and interpretation for all analytical related testing.

- Master Industrial engineer - chemistry / material sciences or equivalent (evaluation in function of previous experience)
- First working experience is mandatory
- Good social and communication skills verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Dutch native with fluent knowledge of English
