Now, the fabled Grand Hotel Astoria will re-emerge as Corinthia Brussels later in 2024, a beacon of elegance and luxury in the heart of the Belgian capital.
Following a meticulous restoration, Corinthia Brussels will marry the classical elegance of its storied past with sophisticated modern facilities including 126 rooms and suites, a gastronomic restaurant and brasserie, and 1000 square metres of wellness. Catering to discerning locals and luxury travellers, Corinthia Brussels will harmonise heritage with an avant-garde attitude.

The Corinthia Hotel Brussels is a distinguished luxury hotel known for its impeccable service, refined ambiance, and commitment to creating memorable experiences.
The Palm Court, a signature venue within the hotel, will be celebrate for its elegant Afternoon Tea service, premium beverage offerings, and a selection of sophisticated small plates. The Palm Court is a place where guests experience the finest in Belgian hospitality with a touch of timeless elegance.
As the Food & Beverage Supervisor for the Palm Court, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards of service, ambiance, and guest satisfaction. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented leader who can inspire the team and deliver a seamless dining experience. You will manage staff, coordinate with other departments, and ensure that every guest enjoys an unforgettable experience that embodies the Corinthia’s standards of excellence.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supervise daily operations at the Palm Court, ensuring smooth, efficient service aligned with Corinthia’s standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate the F&B team, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, anticipate needs, and handle any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain high standards of presentation and ambiance, ensuring the Palm Court remains clean, elegant, and welcoming at all times.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and other departments to ensure consistent, timely service.
- Assist in menu and beverage selection by providing insights based on guest feedback and current trends in high-end F&B offerings.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring all items required for the Palm Court are well-stocked.
- Implement quality control measures for all food and drink presentations, continuously monitoring for improvement.
- Support scheduling and staff allocation, optimizing resources to match the flow of business.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

**Health & Safety**:
- To be aware of and comply with safe working practices as stipulated by the Health and Safety Act and as applicable to your place of work. This will include the incumbent’s awareness of any specific hazards at the workplace.
- The wearing of appropriate protective clothing provided by or recommended by the Company will be obligatory.
- To report any defects in the building, plant or equipment according to hotel procedure.
- To ensure that any accidents to staff, guests or visitors are reported immediately in accordance with correct procedures.
- To attend statutory Fire, Health & Safety training and to be fully conversant with and abide by all rules concerning:
- Fire, Health and Safety
- Regulations, such as COHSS in the European Union, related to the control of substances hazardous to health.

- Hotel Fire & Bomb Procedures

TALENT PROFILE
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within F&B in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment, ideally with Afternoon Tea or high-end service expertise.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
