**What does this job entail?**:
KBC Securities is part of KBC Group but a separate legal entity, with an exceptional focus on the client and an ambitious & dynamic vibe. A flat organisation with its own DNA and where colleagues closely work together.
- Origination in debt & equity capital markets (corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, syndication, debt placement)
- Equity sales, trading and research
- Investment services (private equity)
- Specialised finance (project financing, export financing)
**What do we expect from you?**:
As business optimizer your main responsibility is to be the linking pin between KBC Securities’ business colleagues and KBC Group’s IT network. Therefore, we expect you to:
- Analyse business needs and translate them into IT requirements and objectives
- Support business in case of unexpected IT incidents, and monitor problem solving of IT.
- Maintaining a helicopter view on processes, and deep dive into an issue whenever required
- Participate in projects, related to software implementation, as well as projects that relate to contract and vendor management.
- Co-create the IT roadmap for KBC Securities
- Cooperate and align with KBC IT (which is part of KBC Group)
**Your key strengths?**:
- An analytical mindset with logic thinking as a natural state of mind. You like to dive into business and IT processes, while maintaining the global overview.
- Bringing solutions to the table in order to solve problems in a sustainable way
- Facilitation skills, to bring processes alive and to interprete and translate them into IT requirements
- From the helicopter view on processes, you are able to dive deep into an issue and link the involved parties in order to push to a solution.
- Proactive, autonomous yet a team player
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and a strong feeling for project management
- Building bridges and coming with solutions
- Knowledge of brokerage flows and tooling is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of the SAFE methodology is a plus
