**Wat houdt deze vacature in?**:
KBC Securities in de investeringsbank van KBC Groep, gelegen in Brussel. Dit wil zeggen dat we deel uitmaken van KBC Groep, maar dat we een eigen legale entiteit zijn.
We maken hierin het verschil met onze vlakke structuur en onze dynamisch en no-nonsense bedrijfscultuur. We zijn uitermate trots op ons hechte team waarin alle collega’s nauw samenwerken, ongeacht hun departement, culturele achtergrond, religie, gender, business level of senioriteit.

Om ons Risk Management team te versterken, zijn we momenteel op zoek naar een Local Operational Risk Manager.

**Wat verwachten we van jou?**:

- Als LORM, sta je in voor het ondersteunen en het monitoren van de verschillende departementen van KBC Securities (de "first line of defense") in het operationele risicobeheer, alsook het toezicht erop.
- Je helpt hen in de versterking van hun controlekader en de invoering van groepswijde beleidslijnen en projecten voor de beheersing van niet-financiële risico’s.
- Vanuit een onafhankelijk positie, durf je de risicokaders te challengen zowel wat betreft de inschatting van de risico’s alsook de effectiviteit van de controles.
- Je voert eigen risk assessments en cases studies uit om de risico’s in de processen in kaart te brengen. Hieruit ga je risico verlagende maatregelen voorstellen, invoeren en documenteren.
- Je implementeert de BWise tool voor de opvolging van niet-financiële risico’s.
- Je adviseert inzake niet-financiële risico’s in het kader van New and Active Product Process, en als antwoord op allerlei adviesvragen vanuit (senior) management en businessafdelingen.
- Je rapporteert over de status van implementatie van niet-financieel risicobeheer aan (Senior) Management en de bevoegde comités.
- Je legt Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) in relatie tot de risicoappetijt en volgt op.
- Occasioneel kan je ingeschakeld worden in de uitvoering van controles rond financiële risico’s om de continuïteit binnen het risk departement te verzekeren.

**Jouw troeven?**:

- Je beschikt over een Master diploma of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
- Je beschikt over sterke analytische skills en kan zelfstandig werken.
- Ervaring in procesbeheer en risicomanagement, en kennis van processen gelinkt aan de werking van een marktenzaal of beursvennootschap is een groot pluspunt, maar is geen must.
- Je durf zaken kritisch te bekijken en je bent een echte problem solver. Je gaat proactief op zoek naar verbeteringen.
- Stressvolle situaties, een wisselend takenpakket, een volatiele markt en strakke deadlines schrikken jou niet af.
- Je beschikt over sterke communicatie skills, zowel schriftelijk als mondeling, in zowel Nederlands als Engels
