**Wat houdt deze vacature in?**:
Elke dag verrichten KBC-klanten talloze betalingen, al dan niet met de kaart. Dit domein is in volle beweging en dat brengt operationele risico’s met zich mee. Als operational risk manager zet jij je in om die risico’s voor KBC België onder controle te houden. Zo speel jij een belangrijke rol in** fraude, financiële verliezen en juridische geschillen voorkomen**.

Het is een rol waarin je samenwerkt met collega’s uit verschillende teams: Group Risk, Group Compliance, Audit, Cyber Risk, Group Legal en interne payment connectors. Reken op stimulerende wisselwerkingen en veel afwisseling.

**Wat verwachten we van jou?**:

- Je ondersteunt en adviseert business stakeholders bij het** 1e-lijns risicobeheer** van de processen binnen je domein. Dat houdt in dat je voor de processen rond payments & cards operationele risico’s identificeert, analyseert en op de radar brengt van collega’s.
- Zijn de controles op onze business-processen doeltreffend? Moeten we bepaalde risico’s strenger aanpakken? Hoe? Over die vragen buig je je om de kwaliteit van onze **controle-omgeving verder te verbeteren.**:

- Je **monitort hoe onze operationele risico’s evolueren** en rapporteert hierover aan het management. Je doet aanbevelingen, bijvoorbeeld voor audit of compliance, geeft zeer concrete info over risico’s en incidenten, en stelt actieplannen op. Zo vermijden we fraude, financiële verliezen en juridische geschillen.

**Jouw troeven?**:

- Je hebt een masterdiploma en enkele jaren relevante ervaring. Ervaring in procesbeheer en risicobeheer, of kennis van processen gelinkt aan betalingsverkeer is een groot pluspunt, maar geen must. Je leert vooral on the job.
- Je bent **sterk in analyseren** en bekijkt de zaken graag **kritisch**. Kan iets beter? Is er een issue? Jij focust op een** oplossing**.
- Geen probleem voor jou om je eigen taken zelfstandig te organiseren. Deadlines en een afwisselend takenpakket horen erbij in deze job. Jouw antwoord daarop? **Prioriteiten stellen**.
- Je spreekt en schrijft vlot **Nederlands en Engels**. In beide talen communiceer je helder en overtuigend.
