De rol van Compliance is de afgelopen jaren steeds belangrijker geworden omdat de regelgeving in Europa complexer en strenger is geworden. De toezichthouder voert ook steeds strengere controles uit

Compliance heeft dus een belangrijke, dubbele rol:

- Het adviseren van zakelijke belanghebbenden, hen ondersteunen met training, en het creëren van bewustzijn binnen onze organisatie rond compliance issues.
- Controleren of de regelgeving daadwerkelijk wordt nageleefd

**Wat verwachten we van jou?**:

- Je zorgt er mee voor dat KBC Securities de regelgeving inzake financiële marktactiviteiten naleeft en garandeert de bescherming van de belangen van onze klanten en de integriteit van de markt.
- Je geeft advies zowel in functie van projecten, ad hoc, als in het formele product goedkeuringsproces,...
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het vertalen en implementeren van nationale en Europese regelgeving in duidelijke interne regels en voor het analyseren van de impact van wijzigingen in de regelgeving op de verschillende activiteiten binnen KBC Securities
- Je staat open voor overleg met de business om rekening te houden met de specifieke omstandigheden waarin de regels moeten worden toegepast
- Je werkt nauw samen met de Monitoring Officers bij het uitvoeren van controles op de correcte toepassing van de regels in de praktijk, en trekt samen met hen conclusies uit de resultaten van deze controles
- Je neemt de nodige initiatieven om in de organisatie bewustzijn over de regels te creëren en te vergroten

**Jouw troeven?**:

- Je hebt interesse in investment banking activiteiten
- Je hebt een masterdiploma, bij voorkeur juridisch en/of economisch van aard
- Je hebt een gedegen kennis van de financiële sector en relevante regelgeving en compliance regelgeving zoals Anti-Money Laundering, MiFID, Marktmisbruik, Sancties en Embargo's, Gegevensbescherming, ESG, Ethiek & Fraudebestrijding etc.
- Je communiceert vloeiend schriftelijk en mondeling, niet alleen in het Nederlands, maar ook in het Engels
- Je werkt graag constructief samen met collega's van verschillende afdelingen zonder je onafhankelijkheid uit het oog te verliezen
- Je kunt goed omgaan met veranderingen en bent voldoende pragmatisch en flexibel
- Je bent leergierig, creatief en volhardend
- Je bent gecertificeerd compliance officer (is een pluspunt) of bent bereid je certificering binnen een termijn van 2 jaar te behalen
