To accommodate our growth, we are looking for a dynamic, hands-on Master Data Specialist in Nipro Medical Europe (NME).
**About the Role**:
Under guidance of Operations Planning Manager, you will create, maintain and control Master Data that is fundamental to Operational business processes. As a Master Data Specialist focused on Materials, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our master data related to materials used in our manufacturing processes. This position requires a meticulous individual with a deep understanding of materials data management and a passion for ensuring data quality.
**What you’ll do**:
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of materials-related master data in our systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate material information.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies to ensure consistency and reliability of materials data.
- Work towards standardizing material naming conventions and classification.
- Perform regular checks to identify and rectify data discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve data quality issues promptly.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices in materials data management.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of data management procedures.
- The employee performs all tasks in accordance with ISO quality and JSOX requirements, whilst always taking Nipro values into account.
**What You’ll Need**:
- Bachelor's degree (e.g. business, or related economic field).
- 3+ years of experience in master data management, data governance or related field.
- Excellent understanding of data structures, data quality and data management principles.
- Proficiency in data management tools and technologies (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Informatica, MDM tools).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent command in English is required, additional languages are a plus.
